People disappoint people. People let other people down. People hurt people.  People are broken and sinful. Parents, siblings, friends, parents of friends, acquaintances, people you don't even know personally but know enough about them (through countless hours of stalking on social media...come on, I can't be the only one) to basically know them...we all have those in our lives who we look up to. We watch and try to imitate the way they live, we listen closely when they talk, we run to them for advice, encouragement and wisdom...these people, in our eyes, seem to have their lives together and are pretty darn close to perfect. {growing}

I am a journal keeper. Not always mind you, but for about the last 5 or 6 years. I mean I kinda sorta kept a diary when I was 8-10, but writing 2 sentence entries once every 10 months doesn't really count in my book. As soon as I hit my teen years though, I obviously had to document all the drama going on in my life, hence I began journaling. At first it was every other day that I would write in it, but now it's more like once a month, maybe not even that. But when I do write in it, boy do I write in it. I rarely write just one page, but instead pages and pages.  Besides the daily happenings, new books I'm reading, favorite songs, newest ice cream flavors I've discovered and sob stories, if you were to readmy journal you would also find my deepest darkest secrets. I slept for approximately 7.5 hours last night. And that was after an afternoon of playing ultimate Frisbee for 3 hours and then staying out till 10:45pm with amazing people. During those 7.5 hours, I woke up about 6 times due to a cat continually walking on my head and a sister {shall remained un-named} who was snoring . I'm incredibly tired and I'm not really sure how I'm still moving at this point. I feel like I think a zombie might. Don't get the wrong idea here. I don't really think about zombies.  Ever . Well, now I am. And that's weird. But we're moving on. Because my fingers are about to give out, and I am wishing I hadn't decided to stop soda-drinking. I need caffeine right now.
