Try to coordinate outfits, get ready to leave 30 minutes early, remember to grab tripod, find the perfect spot that has enough light but not too much blinding-sun-in-your-eyes light, position everyone so that everyone is seen...ready...set...smile. Don't stop smiling. Wait till you see the flash 3 times. Alright, don't move, let me check it. Nope, we need to do more. Get back into place!

Sunday mornings are the only times that we are all halfway decently dressed and in the same place...so obviously we have to take what we can get. 




The is the winner...the one picture of several where everyone is not only looking at the camera, but also smiling! 


As you can see, my dad is more trouble than the little kids. 


As are my older brothers...



I guess it is hard to smile for so long...even Hannah joined in. 


*sigh*

WARNING. If you plan on proceeding, beware of the immense amount of cuteness that you will see. 






No wonder this girl acts like she's a Princess...her brothers (when they aren't teasing her to the point of tears and frustration.) treat her like nothing short of a queen.





Our Blessing. She will be 4 years old in just a few weeks and that is crazy and stop. I can't handle it.



Stephen Jacob is 9 {10 in July} and he is just as sweet and precious as he looks folks.





Creed is 5, almost 6. He is a mess and a half but an adorable one so it makes up for it.

Corban Alexander, 12 going on 13. He makes us laugh everyday.



Ben is 11, 12 in August. He is such a crazy boy.


These precious girls! They are just the sweetest.




Emily Marie...14, 15 in June. Such a gorgeous face and an even more beautiful heart!



Katherine Margaret...also 14 (but 7 minutes younger than her twin) Full of spunk and crazy wit. She is just like me and I love it.

These 2 guys are the best brothers ever.


My favorite older brother is 19. Handsome, huh? yeah. He is.



Gah. I can't even handle this!



Isaac is 16. He is such a wise young man and is a blessing to all!



My gorgeous big sissy. She's 21 and simply the best ever.




Yeah. We know.


So there's me. I'm almost 18, and that's crazy.



A senior with her wonderful parents. 



I've said this before, and I'll say it again...my parents are beyond adorable and I can't believe they're mine. Still in love after 23 years.

Dear girls, 
 Stop it. 
 Stop despising the way you look. Stop critiquing everything about yourself. Stop looking in the mirror only to cringe and tell yourself that you aren't good enough, aren't thin enough, aren't beautiful enough.

People disappoint people. People let other people down. People hurt people.  People are broken and sinful. Parents, siblings, friends, parents of friends, acquaintances, people you don't even know personally but know enough about them (through countless hours of stalking on social media...come on, I can't be the only one) to basically know them...we all have those in our lives who we look up to. We watch and try to imitate the way they live, we listen closely when they talk, we run to them for advice, encouragement and wisdom...these people, in our eyes, seem to have their lives together and are pretty darn close to perfect. We unconsciously put them on a pedestal, wanting to be like them, thinking that they know all, assuming that they don't have struggles, and if they do, then they fix them so easily...
